• By Arrowfield’s quality stallion SHALAA who to date has had 104 winners in both hemispheres including 4 stakes winners from his short career at stud, including G1 Leopardstown Matron Stakes winner NO SPEAK ALEXANDER and the 2yo Magic Millions Classic winner SHAQUERO who has since gone on to win the G3 ATC Pago Pago Stakes and the G3 ATC Breeders’ Plate. A sire on the up, FRENCH COMET has every opportunity to perform well.

• A $180,000 yearling he is a lovely physical and has recently placed second in his first career start.

• FRENCH COMET’s dam FRENCH DOLL (by NORTHERN METEOR) is a half-sister to the Japanese G2 winner RED GENESIS who has had 3 career wins to date from 1800m to 2400m.

• This share is for sale as the owner is looking to reduce numbers. The owners retaining their shares are a great bunch of people who are keen to continue racing this gelding on into his 3yo season.

• FRENCH COMET underwent a left intercarpal joint arthroscopy in early January 2022, which went completely routinely. He will need to spell for another 6-8 weeks before returning to training.

A fluent moving, athletic style of horse built in the mould of his sire, his share is being sold as a racing proposition unreserved.
