Description

Lateral Missile. Placed Bay mare 2016 by Smart Missile from a 1/2 sister to Widden Stakes winner Horizons. Her sister Strome won 8 races and 465k and is in foal to exciting first season sire Ole Kirk. She is also a 1/2 sister to the highly progressive young Andrew Noblet trained stayer ABREED ( 2nd last week at MV and likely black type runner this prep).

Lateral Missile has a positive test to her 5/9/21 cover (2021 service fee $16500) to the emerging Newhaven Park based stallion XTRAVAGANT. Sire of the undefeated $2m Inglis Millenium winner and leading Golden Slipper prospect XTRAVAGANT STAR and her stakes winning 3yo brother He’s Exceptional plus the Randwick Guineas bound excitement machine SINBA- a brilliant Randwick winner on Wednesday.

It’s hard to speculate what Xtravagant’s service fee will be next year 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ but this mare represents the opportunity to own one of the 47 mares in foal to him this season.
