Snappy Lil Thing is a speedy Bel Esprit mare that is lightly raced and has a win, a third and two fourths from just six starts.
Snappy Lil Thing is a strong mare and is a very nice type. She is easy to ride during work, floats well, is easy to shoe and handle around the stables. Being a Bel Esprit, she can be hard to handle on race day once saddled up (fine in the tie ups) but nothing a strong strapper can’t handle.
Snappy Lil Thing was the “bet of the day” at Werribee on Sunday 13th of February only to be scratched prior to the race for refusing to go on the track from the mounting yard when the jockey was legged up (contact the owner for more details as she was in season as well)
As a result she will need to trial before stewards prior to racing again.
Snappy Lil Thing is the only mare in a small stable full of colts and geldings and the owners have decided that she would be better off with a change of environment to enable her to be at her best.
She will race very well in any state as she has shown to be competitive in Victoria.
Snappy Lil Thing underwent Throat Surgery prior to her racing career & you wouldn’t know that she has had the operation with no side effects at all.
