Description
This well-related Poet’s Voice mare is being sold with a quality colt at foot by first season sire Magna Grecia (Invincible Spirit). A winner of the Group One Vertem Futurity Trophy Stakes at two and the Group One 2,000 Guineas at three, Magna Grecia is a half-brother to Champion 2YO and World Champion 3YO St Mark’s Basilica (Siyouni).
Poetic Diva has been given every chance to succeed at stud – she has a two-year-old Caravaggio gelding, that was a $120,000 yearling, to run for her, plus a yearling colt by Vancouver coming through.
Among the Group One winners in Poetic Diva’s immediate family are Derby winner Adayar, and Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere winner National Defense. Both National Defense and Magna Grecia are sons of Invincible Spirit, making this colt an even more attractive pinhooking or racing prospect.
