Here is your chance to buy a 10% share in LUBRICATION. He is a 2YO Colt by I AM INVINCIBLE from the FASTNET ROCK mare WORKDRINKS who is now well educated and prepared for his racing career after being to the trials on two occasions and he shows to have a good amount of ability. We are hoping that a keen investor with an eye for value who is looking to get to the races in just a few months will take the opportunity to join his ownership group to race him with us in the very near future.
He was sent to Randwick in early February to trial with the instruction to give him a soft trial, allow him to travel and teach him a bit given it was his first time in company. After copping a bit of kickback in the run and getting a bit lost Nash Rawiller gave a good report of his effort and the feel the horse gave him on his first time away from home. His second trial Sam Clipperton was told to use the experience he had gained from his first trial and to put him in the trial early and let us see a little bit of the ability he was showing at home knowing that he was very likely to need a break after the trial and he performed as he he has shown at home despite nearing the end of his preparation. Sam was very happy with the feel he gave him and his improved racing manners from his first trial. He was a very athletic, good walking yearling at last year’s Easter Yearling Sale where we purchased him for $400,000. Our belief was that he was a bit typical of a first foal but had the frame and athleticism needed, had the room to grow develop and continue to furnish as he went along. Our experience with horses bred at Kitchwin Hills is that all horses raised on this fabulous farm continue to progress and improve with everything they do which is why they breed so many good horses and this Colt has been no exception. He has developed to be a very good looking Colt now with a little growth and strength to come which he will get with his current break. It is likely that he will return to training for a Spring preparation in 4 to 5 weeks.
