Description
A fast stakes winner who won 10 races – including 2 at 2!
Desert Lashes was an exceptionally quick filly who dominated races from the front with incredible speed. A winner of her first 8 starts, including the Listed Redelva Stakes (1100m) - where she burnt off her rivals to win by 2.1L, she finished her racetrack career with an outstanding record 20-10:4:0 & $438,950.
She is a half-sister to 4 winners, and her pedigree page contains Group 2 winner Silver Glade and stakes winners Angel On High, Red Labelle, Strawberry Field and 2021’s Group 3 SA Classic winner Mimi’s Award.
Desert Lashes’ first foal is a yearling colt by dual Group 1 winner Fiorente and she is selling with her second foal - a weanling filly at foot by Champion 2YO National Defense.
NATIONAL DEFENSE has started brilliantly in the northern hemisphere going at 7% SWR, thanks in main to the exceptionally talented two-year-old filly TWILIGHT GLEAMING.
Winner of her maiden race by 7 lengths at Belmont Park she went on to capture the $1 Million Group 2 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint at Del Mar, in between venturing twice to Europe for a stakes win in France and a close second the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot.
