House Mistress is a proven daughter of CHARGE FORWARD, out of the sprinting DANZERO mare, THE MISSUS.
This is a family that has had plenty of sprinting success. Her dam, The Missus, was a winner of two races from 800m-1100m and is an own-sister to the 2YO winning and G3 Roman Consul winner MERECHAL. Additionally, The Missus, is a ¾ sister to Lady Danette, the successful producer of 3 individual Stakes winners – JUST A KISEKI, MR. TRICKSTER and of Stakes placegetter, BRAZEN HUSSEY.
As a Broodmare Sire, CHARGE FORWARD has had success at the elite level. His daughters have produced headline sprinters such as SUNLIGHT (G1 VRC Newmarket, G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes, G1 William Reid Stakes), SHE WILL REIGN (G1 Golden Slipper, G1 Moir Stakes) and ESTIJAAB (G1 Golden Slipper).
House Mistress has had a successful start to her broodmare career, she has produced two to race, both winners. Additionally, she has two sons by RICH ENUFF and a daughter of GRUNT still to race.

This mare is being offered in-foal to our G1 Sire LUCKY VEGA, a G1 winning son of Lope De Vega.
In his freshman year, LUCKY VEGA stood for a fee of $22,000 incl GST, covering 119 mares including leading race and broodmares, UNFORGOTTEN, MISS BARLEY, GYPSY TUCKER etc. An exceptional juvenile, LUCKY VEGA claimed the G1 Curragh Phoenix Stakes and placed 2nd in the G1 Newmarket Middle Park Stakes. As a Three-year-old, he claimed placings at the elite level, including the G1 2000 Guineas and G1 Royal Ascot St James Palace Stakes.
