Description

Height: 16:1HH

A nice type of mare, fine but strong, in proportion with good confirmation. She throws a very nice foal.

She won or placed at 50% of her starts over 1200-1400m. a great sprinting type. Her first foal (GOTTA PULSE) a filly by Ready For Victory, is already a winner over 1000m as a 2yo. Her 2nd foal is a filly by Fiorente (IRE) and her 3rd foal is a colt by Soul Patch. Last year she missed for the first time on a middle of December covering.

Star Impulse needs to be sedated in a crush for vetting, can be drenched easily and farrier can work OK on front feet but needs patience to do her back feet.

The dam of Star Impulse had 7 named foals for 6 winners, 5 very consistent at the sprint distances and the 6th winner coming over 2200m. A sprinting family unless matched with an out and out stayer.

Star Impulse is free of Danehill with a duplicate of the sprint star, Luskin Star. A pedigree that works well with Danehill line stallions available in the breeding barns.
