Description
A stunning type of mare, SENSITIVITY was a $450,000 yearling and had three career wins at 1400m and 1500m for Ciaron Maher Racing.
Not only does SENSITIVITY have a wonderful physical, she hails from a well performed black-type family, being out of a stakes placed, REDOUTE’S CHOICE mare SENSIBILITY who placed second in the G1 ATC Flight Stakes, being runner-up to the incredible race mare GUELPH.
GUELPH went on to take out Champion 3yo Filly in Australia having won four G1 races including the G1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes, the G1 Champagne Stakes, G1 Flight Stakes and G1 MRC Thousand Guineas with a further six stakes wins and placings with over $1.6 million in prizemoney.
This pedigree will only continue to flourish, with SENSIBILITY’s 2019 colt named VINNIE’S SPIRIT being in the stable of Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott and was purchased as a yearling for $325,000. They obviously felt this colt had plenty of ability, as they also purchased his half-brother by SHALAA the following year.
A superior pedigree, SENSITIVITY’s grand dam FLEETING TOUCH hails from the family of the great US stallion MIDSHIPMAN who was a multiple G1 winner and has sired 48 individual stakes winners with 75% winners to runners. FLEETING TOUCH is also a three-quarter sister to FAST COOKIE who is the dam of G1 Belmont Metropolitan Handicap and G1 Saratoga Whitney Stakes winner and now sire FROSTED who shuttles between the US and Australia.
SENSITIVITY is by Champion stallion I AM INVINCIBLE who is the sire of 75 stakes winners including 12 individual G1 winners such as HOME AFFAIRS, LOVING GABY, BRAZEN BEAU, INVINCIBELLA and VIDDORA to name just a few.
SENSITIVITY is in foal to European Champion 2yo and dual Guineas winning miler CHURCHILL (who is by the great GALILEO). She has been covered early in the season with a date of last service of being 15/09/21. Her owners are wanting to reduce broodmare numbers, so she is being offered unreserved.
