Description
.DAUNTLESS is a 3yo chestnut filly by Champion sire NOT A SINGLE DOUBT. A $260,000 Magic Millions graduate, this filly is a well put together horse and is a replica of her father.
NOT A SINGLE DOUBT has had an incredible career at stud with 79 stakes winners and 73% winners to runners having produced 16 G1 winners including the likes of fillies such as KENEDNA, MIRACLES OF LIFE, SHOUT THE BAR, SECRED AGENDA, SINGLE GAZE and INSTANT CELEBRITY – just to name a few!
He has also proven he is up to the task as a broodmare sire having already had 10 stakes winners including the G2 WATC Karrakatta Plate winner IMA SINGLE MAN and SHAQUERO who won the G3 ATC Breeders’ Plate before going on to secure the Listed MM 2yo Classic on the Gold Coast and the G3 ATC Pago Pago Stakes.
DAUNTLESS is lightly raced and is being sold by owners to make way for their new stock, so she still has every opportunity to break her maiden and move up through the grades in the right hands. With just the four starts to her name, she will provide her new owners a great thrill with a maiden win and beyond.
DAUNTLESS is out of the New Zealand-bred MASTERCRAFTSMAN mare COURTESAN who is a half-sister to the superb MONACO CONSUL who was the head of the New Zealand 3yo 1600m + table of his year, having won the G1 Victoria Derby, G1 AJC Champion Spring Stakes, whilst also placing third in the G1 AJC Queen Elizabeth Stakes, G1 Australian Derby and G1 Caulfield Cup – earning himself close to $1.5 million in prizemoney.
COURTESAN is also a half-sister to the stakes placed SO DIVINE who went on to produce two stakes place getters in that of RE EDIT and TEODORA who have both placed a Group level.
The family also includes the superior MILITARY PLUME who had 8 career wins and close to $1 million in prizemoney, having won the G1 Australian Guineas, G1 WATC Rothwells Stakes and winning or placing in a further incredible 14 Group races. His placings include second in both the G1 VRC Sires’ Produce Stakes and second in the MVRC William Reid Stakes.
In the mould of her sire, DAUNTLESS is well muscled, has a strong hind quarter and shoulder, a deep girth and a gorgeous head with a kind eye. She is a stunning physical so would make a lovely addition to any broodmare band once she has finished racing – being by the great NOT A SINGLE DOUBT will only add value.
