Description
HIBISCUS is 4yo mare by PIERRO out of the well related mare HIGH ASPIRATION( Exceed & Excel) This mare was a $100,000 MM graduate and has quality written all over her with her well put together body & femine head.
HIBISCUS is lightly raced and is being sold by owners to make way for their new stock, so she still has every opportunity to move up through the grades in the right hands. With just the 8 starts to her name, she will provide her new owners with plenty more wins to come placed correctly we believe.
Unfortunately HIBISCUS has been victim to the Northern NSW floods, she has missed work, had a very interrupted preparation and has been going into every race start this preparation with little or no gallops under her belt. We don't think she has appreciated the shifty surface her last 2 starts nor the backing up in 6 days and has gotten to far back for the way the tracks have played. Her first start this preparation was a forget run also. She has had no chance to show her true potential with the way her current preparation has panned out.
HIBISCUS will appreciate heading to drier tracks and a change of scenery may be all she needs to find form again. She has shown ability in her previous preparations winning in the ever so tough provincial circuit & she has shown enough ability in her work to say she's definitely worth going on with.
Nice mare to have around, good to ride, shoe, wash, travel, good eater and has good feet etc great mare at the races and to handle. Has been to the beach and has had some arena work also, pretty straight forward mare to train.
Coming from a smart family and being by PIERRO out of a race winning EXCEED AND EXCEL mare HIBISCUS also has very good resale value as a broodmare later down the track.
