Description
This Colt is by our resident dual G1 winning sire GRUNT and out of the winning Exceed and Excel
mare Wazamba.
Wazamba is a half-sister to BERIMBAU, a 2YO winning and G2 placed daughter of Shamadarl that has
gone on to produce a recent G1 and multiple Group winner IMPERATRIZ. Additionally, this is the
family of ROYAL COURTSHIP, a leading 2YO Colt of his general that won the G2 Topman Staes, G3
Kindergarten Stakes and a placing in the G1 Sires Produce Stakes. Wazamba is currently in foal to our
2YO G1 winning son of Lope De Vega, LUCKY VEGA.
Exceed and Excel daughters continue to leave exceptional racehorses. They have left 65 SW, 39 GW
and 10 individual G1 winners such as ALIZEE, PROMT RESPONSE, ASTERN, BOUNDING and LAW OF
INDICES etc.
By our foundation stallion Grunt (NZ) who stands his fourth season this year. His first yearlings made
a huge impression at the 2022 sales, selling for up to $300,000 and averaging over $100,000 at the
Magic Millions Yearling Sale.
His first 2-year-olds will emerge this spring from top stables including Ciaron Maher & David Eustace
Racing, Gai & Adrian Bott Racing, Chris Waller Racing, John O’Shea Racing, Greg Eurell Racing,
