Description
This young daughter of an Oaks winner is sure to appeal. Moreish won the WA Oaks (Gr 3), the WATC One Thousand Guineas (L), the Natasha Stakes (L) and ran 2nd in the WA Derby (Gr 2). Amorei is her first foal, and while she was unraced due to injury, she is already showing promise as a broodmare with very promising reports on her first foal by Awesome Rock. Her second foal had to be euthanased following a paddock accident and she has produced a cracking colt by Maschino who will go to the yearling sales next year.
Amorei carries an early cover to Rommel, WA’s leading First Season and 2yo old sire for 20/21 and is currently the leading 2nd Season Sire (13th on the national sires list with only 27 runners) and the leading 2yo sire in WA (24th on the National list with a 60% 2yo winners to runners average). He is the sire of the very exciting Sires Produce (Gr 3) winner “Snowdome”, WA Derby (Gr 2) placegetter “Pale Rider” as well as MM3yo winner “Pixie Chix”.
Amorie is an easy mare to handle and presents no problems in the crush or for breeding. She stands approx. 15.3hh and is a very solid mare with correct conformation and good bone.
