Kikongo – 10yo Mare
A 10yo daughter of High Chaparral, Kikongo is out of the imported Kingmambo mare Mambo Chatte, a half-sister to the G2-winning, G1 placed Horse Greely.
The dam of three colts by Star Witness, Merchant Navy and Pariah, the mare is being offered with cover to dual G1 winner Merchant Navy who yearlings have sold up to $700,000 so far and has been represented by three individual first crop winners and the G3 placed Drisana.
The resultant foal will be bred on the same Fastnet Rock x High Chaparral pedigree cross that has recorded 11 winners from 20 runners led by stakes winner Ballistic Boy and Riva Capri, while High Chaparral as a broodmare sire has been responsible for 90 global stakes performers led by nine individual G1 winners.
