-This Danehill/Danzig-free mare is a half-sister to 3 stakes performers inc. Flemington G3 winner Lunar Rise and Crafty (twice Group-placed in Melbourne) and to the dam of current 2YO SW Soaring Ambition, trained by Annabel Neasham.
-She is a daughter of Champion USA Turf Male Gio Ponti, a grandson of the great Storm Cat, and hails from one of Europe’s best families featuring G1 winners Peintre Celebre (Arc de Triomphe), Jet Dark, Persian King & Planteur.
-Sharp improvement might be expected to Rumba’s page: her half-sister Crafty has 2YO & 3YO fillies by Sea The Stars yet to race and a yearling colt by Enable’s sire Nathaniel.
-Her other half-sister Tango has a Castelvecchio filly and is in foal to him again.
