Description
-This American-bred mare was a brilliant juvenile. She won her first two races including a stakes victory before being stakes-placed at Saratoga and G1-4th at Keeneland. On her final start at Del Mar in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf, she led almost all the way being cut back to 4th in the final 100m.
-A US$300,000 Keeneland Broodmare Sale acquisition, she is a daughter of Leroidesanimaux (sire of Kentucky Derby & Dubai World Cup winner Animal Kingdom) and is a half-sister to G3 winner Royal Mo (3rd G1 Santa Anita Derby).
-Tara From The Cape’s granddam Irish Linnet was a tough, gutsy racemare winning 19 of her 62 starts including 3 Graded Stakes victories at Belmont.
-All of Tara From The Cape’s 5 yearlings to sell have made $200,000 or more including her Snitzel colt High Rise Soldier (4 wins to date) who sold for $1m at Inglis Easter.
