Burning The Clock, gelding by Akeed Mofeed.
A genuine performer, proven by his results 31 3-9-7
He is out of proven producer Bel Mer, making him a half to Group performer, All Too Royal. Burning The Clock like his dam and siblings is a very genuine, strong and sound gelding. He has performed on a variety of underfoot conditions including winning a jumpout on the synthetic at Ballarat.
After a great win in Hamilton his recent form is mixed but it did get his rating back down to a more winnable level – he doesn’t “back-up” and had a luckless last start at Horsham on May 2nd. He runs best when fresh, so with the right spacing between runs and on bigger galloping tracks there is without doubt a number of wins in him. This is a genuine sale, as the owner is raising funds for a home deposit.
Burning The Clock is a pleasure to train. Easy to shoe, float, ride and is lovely to handle around the stables and is accustomed to both the treadmill and swimming pool. He is currently in full work (come through his last run in good order) and is based in Colac, Victoria.
