Description
Pierroette is a young mare by super sire Pierro that was an $80,000 Easter purchase by astute bloodstock agent Brad Spicer.
Her dam CASQUETS is a Spring 2 year old stakes winner (Talindert Listed) by Fastnet Rock. Casquets has a Group 1 placed full brother Furiosa and stakes winning half-sister Ballet Suite. Ballet Suite had a $1.1 million dollar yearling colt sold in 2019. She also has an unraced Fastnet rock 2yo colt and a yearling American Pharaoh filly both currently in the Waller stable.
Being only 11 years old, Casquets has years left of being a broodmare and her commercial value means she has been sent to the top stallions in the country (Pierro/ I Am Invincible/ Capitalist)
Pierroette currently has an unraced 2yo half-sister by I Am Invincible (Elderslie) in the Peter Moody stable and a yearling half-sister by I Am Invincible in the Chris Waller stable ($400k Easter purchase). Pierroettes' full sister Petronilla ($240k Easter purchase by Chris Waller) currently has a Magna Grecia colt at foot. With so much investment and so many well bred fillies in the immediate family, there is serious opportunity for pedigree updates for years to come.
Pierroette is in foal to leading active third season sire (runners to winners 52% as of 30/4/22) RICH ENUFF. Rich Enuff's progeny can run and he has some serious horses in Dosh, Orbisyn, etc and he is also gaining traction in Hong Kong with two impressive winners from his only two runners (Scotch Tycoon/Wonderful Warrior).
