Simply Impressive is a good boned, strong, scopey mare, all in proportion. She had only one race start. She is easy to work with having no issues with drench or farrier work.
While at Bombora Downs, she has been easy to vet and to get in foal. Her oldest foal is a 3yo filly (TOPENDER) by Territories (IRE) in the stable of Kris Lees with the latest result a 2nd, first up over 1250m. The mare also has a 2yo colt (MY ARTIE) by Flying Artie yet to race. Her yearling filly by Smart Missile is being broken in while her weanling colt by Hiland Reel (IRE) is being retained by the breeder.
Simply Impressive's dam line is part of one of the great families in the Stud Book, that of Roughshod and Moccasin and in more recent times Smart Missile and Northern Meteor. Bernardini (USA) is the dam sire of 2 stakes winners in the 20/21 season including G1 winner ANGEL OF TRUTH, so is putting the runs on the board with limited opportunities.
