Description
Young broodmare prospect with a strong pedigree offers breeders a great opportunity to buy a mare who has been well mated in her first few years at stud.
Stareign is an unraced half-sister to Listed Winner The Huntress and Stakes performer Lord Fuji from the family of G1 Winners Truly Great (Dundeel) and Special Alert (Not A Single Doubt). She offers plenty of upside with her second foal Sassy Skye (Dundeel) only a 2yo and in training with Summer Dickson in WA. Her third foal is by Dundeel and was sold at this years Inglis Classic sale to Fry Racing for $50,000 and her weanling colt by Shalaa recently sold for $90,000 at this years Inglis Australian Weanling Sale.
Stareign was not bred in 2022 as the owners decided they were cutting back, so she is empty and ready for the upcoming season. She is approximately 16h and is a very straight forward mare to deal with and would be a great addition to any broodmare band.
