Description

Daughters of Encosta de Lago have proven to be outstanding producers at stud with an enviable record of 64% winners to runners and over 4.4% Stakes winners to runners. Among those winners are 17 individual Group One winners.

Aneto is a very attractive mare with plenty of strength and quality. She was a NZ$500,000 yearling and has thrown some lovely foals that have sold very well; she has had three yearlings offered at public auction to-date and these include a $400,000 Fastnet Rock colt and an $180,000 Vancouver colt. Aneto also has a yearling filly by Saxon Warrior and she foaled a lovely Magna Grecia colt last spring.

Aneto has had just one runner to-date, the three-year-old Vancouver gelding named Vaneto who is in training with champion trainer Chris Waller.
