Description
Designer Dance (Dee to her friends) is going to make someone a fabulous broodmare.
Height 15.3 hh.
She was a feisty race mare and kept the strappers on their toes – never malicious, just enjoying herself!! When at her best she had a blistering finish eg:

She was 0.8L second in a Randwick Highway (and we know how competitive they are) and she was at her best over 1200-1400m and won just over $70,000.
Dee was such an attractive yearling she wowed the Inglis inspection team and was accepted for Premier. However a split hoof forced us to withdraw her and we elected to race her instead. She was an unlucky mare – found all sorts of ways to succumb to illness or injury and was only competitive on a dry track. She was going to have a final prep over summer, but it wasn’t worth even trying with the way the tracks were, so she was retired.
Dee loves being a paddock mare – she has every opportunity to follow the family tradition and be an excellent producer. Her mother (Shimmy) was my foundation mare and apart from her last 2 (yearling and 3yo [full brother] who is back in work now) and her 4yo who died, she has 7 foals – all raced and all were winners, including Dee’s full brother Star of Patch who won in Hong Kong. More importantly they have mostly all done well at sales even when y unfashionable stallions as shimmy throws beautiful types.
Dee was foaled down here and has had the best of care all her life and I am very happy to answer any questions. I am no longer breeding, which is why she is off to a new home.
