Description
Not A Single Bid is a well-bred son of Not A Single Doubt. As a Yearling he was purchased by the stable in 2020 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast sale for $350,000. His ownership group have decided to move him on as they are looking for a higher quality horse to race in the Sydney Metropolitan area.
A horse with an excellent attitude and demeanour, he is a lovely horse to have around the stable and leaves us with no issues. He is a scopey, good-doing horse who is a good ride on the track.
He has shown plenty of natural ability and it's fair to say he hasn't had the best of luck in his only 3 starts.
On debut at Goulburn (Provincial Meeting), he was backed in from odds of $20 into $4. Ridden prominently, he was softened up in the middle stages and was found out late, still running a respectable 4th.
His next start he headed off to Canterbury over 1550m. He again was ridden prominently, coming off 5 weeks between runs. He raced enthusiastically on an extremely heavy track (races were subsequently abandoned) and finished tired and with a genuine excuse.
His most recent run came at the Wagga Carnival over 1400m. From barrier 12 we again rode him prominently and again was softened up in the mid stages with a relentless pace over the 1400m. He finished weakly beaten 5 lengths.
Not A Single Bid will be at Newhaven Park available for inspection and vet. We believe he should be an excellent proposition for a number of racing districts around Australia.
