Description

CALIFORNIA PRESS is a lightly raced 4YO gelding who has had eleven starts to date winning once and placing on five occasions. With a low NSW Benchmark Rating of 58 we see a lot of upside for potential buyers in Australasia.

CALIFORNIA PRESS was ultra impressive when breaking his maiden at Hawkesbury on the 17th of November over 1200m where he won by a margin of 2.41L. He was last seen racing at Gosford on the 31st of December in a Colts & Geldings Benchmark 64 Handicap (1200m) where he had no luck in running causing him to get bottled up at a vital stage of the race. One start prior on the 8th of December at Wyong, he finished 3rd in a Class One Handicap (1200m) to talented filly PONCA who interestingly ran 4th in the LISTED VO ROGUE PLATE at her next start.
