Description

Chapel Express is a lightly raced 5yo gelding who last raced on 26 December.

He had a win and two placings before he came to me with his maiden win being over 1300 in Victoria in 2020. He had a six month break in 2021 due to a paddock accident where he took a fair bit of skin off his off fore leg but that had had no impact on his racing ability since it healed.

Since he has been with me, he has had seven starts for three fourths. We tried him over 2000 at Queanbeyan on Boxing Day but he failed to stay. On his work I have always believed that there were a couple more wins in him, but he is finding the opposition in our district a bit too tough.

He is sound, fit and healthy. He is a wind sucker, but that has been well managed during his time with me with a windsucking collar. His wind is starting to get a bit thick and I have been racing him in a tongue tie.

He is the sort of horse that needs a mate. Other than that, he is pretty straight forward.
