“Chromatica” has been nominated to race on Saturday 11 June over 1550m at Morphetville.
7.5% share in progressive filly “Chromatica”.
“Chromatica” won her first start very impressively at Strathalbyn on 20 April 2022 over 1600m where she travelled 3 and 4 wide the entire trip to win eased down by over a length. Video of this race can be viewed at the SA Racing website.
At her next start on 11 May at Gawler over 2112m, she travelled too keen in the blinkers and finished 6th behind Alpine Beau who has strong form around Jungle Magnate and Harleymoven who have recently been sold to Hong Kong on million plus dollar deals.
“Chromatica” is trained by Michael Hickmott who won the 2021 Metropolitan trainers premiership In Adelaide. Michael is confident that taking the blinkers off next start will see significant improvement for the filly.
“Chromatica” is sired by Power out of a Zabeel filly. This cross has resulted in multiple group performers like Mr Clint, Divine power and Elizabeel. Other Power progeny include Group 1 performers Laws of indices, Sonnyboyliston and Helvic dream.
