Description
Westchester is a lovely mare standing at 16hh.
She was very handy on the track he self with 5 wins and earnings of $155K from 22 starts.
By Reset, her first dam by Sadlers Wells and her second by Shirley Heights, she is free of Danzig/Danehill hence has a great pedigree to mate with any number of stallions.
She produces very good looking foals with her Fighting Sun yearling selling for $220K, the Bel Esprit $130K and her last yearling by Magnus $75K.
Westchester has 4 named foals with 3 to race, 2 winners and her 2yo is placed 3 times from 3 starts.
"Western Sun" by Fighting Sun was very promising with black type potential until injured. He had 2 wins and 4 placings from his 6 starts winning his last start at Caulfield impressively over 1600m.
Her 2yo gelding by Magnus "Dashing", has raced 3 times for 3 close placings finishing best in all 3 starts. He looks very promising especially when he gets over a bit more ground and more so as he matures. Noting he was finishing strongly to be beaten 3/4 of a length by Elliptical who is being touted as a Guineas horse.
She has a very scopey yearling by Churchill and a cracking weanling filly by Calyx that are to be retained.
