Description
Lovely mare on the finer side, standing around 16 hands. Very nice pedigree for a classic type. Her sire, Animal Kingdom won the Kentucky derby at only his fourth start and first start on the dirt. He won 5 times and placed another 5 times from 12 starts as well as the Dubai World Cup over 2000m. He brings in the Blushing Groom line as well a line of the good French Breeder Tourbillion thru Ahonoora as well as the German bloodlines that show up in the likes Fiorente, Almandin and Protectionist . Tourbillion is found in good breeders like Lalun, Eight Carat, Monsun, Fairy King, Sadlers wells. Even Winx has several lines, thru Hoist the flag, Riverman, Hold your Piece…
Zamaking’s female line brings in Sadlers wells thru Monjeu who has given us in the Southern Hemisphere Tavistock, Nom Du Jeu, Sharvasti, Roman emperor, Green Moon and Authorized. He is the broodmare sire of Lucia Valentina. Tourbillion shows up again thru Star way and also present is zamazaan (Fr) who is also present in the blue hen mare Circles of gold.
Zamaking was purchased as a race mare purely to send to Lucas Cranach, unfortunately he passed away so Vino Rosso was substituted. She has produced a lovely colt that I intend to keep. Please forgive the condition of the mare, my property went under twice during this rainy season.
