Description
Ardala was lightly raced before retiring to stud, going in her first year to Strasbourg, a precocious son of I Am Invincible. She is due to foal in September and will be ready for another early cover.
She is by Teofilo, a champion racehorse and sire who is now making waves as a broodmare sire.
Teofilo is the broodmare sire of Coroebus, winner of the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket this year, and also Cachet, winner of the 1000 Guineas, a rare double not seen in 100 years. The same weekend Teofilio was broodmare sire of Dreamloper (G2 Dahlia Stakes) and Senor Toba, who won a G3 event
in Hong Kong.
Ardala is a young mare with plenty of upside as she embarks on her breeding career.
