Description
- Clubcard is a daughter of Zacinto, sire of G1 winner Ugo Foscolo and Australian stakes winners Odeon and Vassilator. He is also the sire of the very promising G2 placed galloper Lucky Decision as well as Zac De Boss who has won his last two starts at metropolitan level in Melbourne.
- Zacinto is a very well bred and performed son of outstanding sire Dansili. As a broodmare sire, Dansili has already produced 104 stakes winners and 13 individual G1 winners.
- Clubcard was purchased by leading New Zealand trainer Michael Pitman at the 2018 New Zealand Bloodstock Sales for $180,000. She is the second most expensive yearling filly by Zacinto ever sold at auction.
- Clubcard comes from an outstanding family. She is a half sister to G3 winner Cismontane and under her second dam Eustaci are the G1 winners Sirstaci, Nimue, Smiling Like and Coventina Bay who has won two G1 races this year.
- This is a family that should continue to improve. Clubcard has an unraced 2yo half brother by Charm Spirit and a weanling half brother by Turn Me Loose. Her half sister Awoke's first foal, a colt by Merchant Navy, made $250,000 as a yearling and is now a 2yo in training with Kacy Fogden. Awoke was sold in foal to Deep Field on her second pregnancy to Nick Vass Bloodstock for $350,000 at the 2020 Magic Millions Broodmare Sale. The resultant filly was purchased by John Foote at this year's Magic Millions Yearling Sale for $200,000 and is in the stable of champion Queensland trainer Tony Gollan. Awoke has since produced a Fastnet Rock colt in 2021 and was covered by outstanding young sire Extreme Choice on 15/9/21.
- Clubcard was measured at 15.3HH. She has good scope, bone and strength, has a nice fluent walk and is straight forward to handle.
