Description
Lustres Last is a rising 5YO mare by Toronado out of the stakes producing mare Lustre. Toronado needs little introduction with the stallion currently sitting 10th on the General Sires table with 83 winners from 176 runners and 6 stakes winners and will stand for $88k this breeding season. Lustre has also done a terrific job at stud producing 6 winners from 9 foals to race , 3 of which were city winners with Glows a stakes winner securing the Listed Typhoon Tracy.
Lustres Last's family is littered with Black Type performers and is the beneficiary of significant investment with 3 of her immediate sisters being commercially bred:
Glows - recently sold for $225k at the recent MM Broodmare sale IFT Lohnro. She has produced 2winners from 4 foals to race with Thermosphere the winner of the G2 VRC Edward Manifold & G3 STC Magic Night the best of them. The mare has 2 full sister to Thermosphere still to run and will foal down to Lohnro this spring.
Golden Lustre - Produced an athletic correct Pierate colt as her first foal (to be sold At Inglis Premier) and will visits Newgate's recently retired G1 Manikato) winner Wild Ruler this year.
Mystic Moon - Has a Saxon Warrior weanling filly on the ground and is currently IFT Headwater.
Of equal benefit is the support being received by Lustre's granddaughters with Thermoshere the headline of these currently IFT Exceed and Exceel.
