Description
• This British-bred mare was a former €200,000 Deauville Yearling purchase for Al Shaqab and is a daughter of outstanding shuttle sire High Chaparral, a Champion Sire of 134 SWs, 23 of them at Gr1 level.
• As a broodmare sire High Chaparral is already making a big impact with 49 SWs to his credit in that role, 9 of them Gr1 winners incl. Suavito, Best of Days, The Wow Signal & Helene Paragon.
• Methyar is the dam of two winners (her only progeny to race so far): Shalaa King, a former $180k MM yearling who won on debut as a 3yo this season; and Gold Bucket, a winner twice at 1000m in his 3 most recent starts for Busuttin & Young.
• Methyar is a daughter of the Deauville stakeswinner Rainbow Crossing – also the dam of a Goodwood Group winner in Al Jazi - while next dam Rainbows For All was a Gr3 winner at The Curragh.
