Description
Rock Chant is a 3yo daughter of Australia’s Champion stallion Fastnet Rock.
Fastnet Rock needs little introduction, being a multiple Champion Sire, with 42 Group 1 winners to his name. Importantly he is also a proven Group 1 producing Broodmare Sire.
Rock Chant was a $300,000 yearling purchase and is out of an impeccable female family. Her dam Aaralyn (Choisir) is a three-quarter-sister to Champion racehorse and successful sire Starspangledbanner (Choisir), among a host of other Blacktype winners in the immediate family.
Aaralyn was a metro-class (ATC) racemare herself and she is still a young mare, with the subject filly being her first foal. The subsequent foals are by Pierro and Zoustar and she is again in foal to Zoustar. Therefore there are likely to be pedigree upgrades in the family in future.
Rock Chant is a lightly raced, speed filly who has shown talent during her 6-start career so far. Her most recent race was on 27th June 2022, where she placed third, beaten only 0.6L.
Rock Chant has been in the spelling paddock for one week in Newham, Vic.
This beautifully bred daughter of Fastnet Rock is being offered as a racing and breeding prospect and presents as a great opportunity to all bloodstock investors.
