Description
A cracking Pierro mare with good size and scope, Aalto was a $340,000 MM Yearling and is carrying an early September service to leading first season sire Russian Revolution.
Out of a stakes mare herself, Aalto is from the family of speedy stakes horses Better Than Ready, Miss Mooney Money, Publishing etc.
Russian Revolution is profiling as a top flight stallion in Australasia. From his first crop he was able to catapult 3 horses into the Golden Slipper, win a Blue Diamond Prelude, Pago Pago and come within a lip of annexing the Blue Diamond and MM 2yo Classic as well. In addition we've see a number of new progressive type emerge during the winter as a prelude to better races in the spring. The chat from the trainers around his yearlings of 2022 is also exceptionally strong and as a horse that got better at 3 and 4 his stock are expected to do the same.
His second crop sold for up to $600k and averaged nearly $240k at MM and sold for up to $850k and averaged nearly $500k at Easter this year showing the esteem the market holds him in.
