Description
Sired by leading Australian sire Snitzel, 5yo mare Our Fraulein is an appealing broodmare prospect.
Daughters of Snitzel are currently in great demand. At the recent 2022 Inglis Australian Broodmare Sale held in May, three of the top four highest priced broodmares were sired by Snitzel, including the $350k sale topper Tiz My View. Demand for Snitzel mares at the sale was very strong with the seven Snitzel mares sold averaging $174k, compared with the sale average of $65k.
Our Fraulein is out of the high quality stakes winning mare Miss Stellabelle whose racetrack performances included wins in the Group 3 MRVC Champagne Stakes and the Listed Mona Lisa stakes at Wyong. She was placed a further nine times in Listed and Group company for earnings over $430k. Unfortunately, Miss Stellabelle’s untimely death cut her breeding career short. Miss Stellabelle was by renowned broodmare sire Dehere.
Our Fraulein was a $250k purchase at the 2018 Inglis Easter Sale. She’s had just twenty-three race starts and is a Brisbane metropolitan race winner and a placegetter at Randwick. She is a lovely type, injury free and provides an outstanding opportunity for a breeder.
