Description
She’s Our Star is an 8 year old mare by Star Witness from the Not A Single Doubt mare- Sheeznodoubt.
She’s Our Star was twice a winner at 2 yrs of age in Brisbane when trained by Tony Gollan and was stakes placed in the 2 yr old Bill Carter Stakes at Listed level.
Sheeznodoubt has produced 7 foals for 7 winners -
She’s Our Star is a full sister to Ciaron Maher trained Amish Boy - winner of $943,875 to date including the SAJC Magic Millions at 2. Amish Boy finished 2nd in the Group2 Danehill stakes , MrC Autumn Stakes and the Caulfield Guineas Prelude. He also finished 3rd in the VRC Newmarket Group 1 etc. Amish Boy is currently in training and in prepared for the spring as a gelding.
The other notable offspring is the mare Lyrical lad by Your Song - trained by Tony Gollan who to date has won 7 races and $220,000.
She’s our star has produced 3 foals to date. Her oldest a 2 yr old by Hellbent which had an early trial and is currently spelling.
The Colt by Hellbent who we sold at the Inglis premier sale for $100,000 to Yargi racing and a Rich Enough filly was sold this year to Saab Hasan at the Inglis Premier sale for $80,000.
She currently has a weanling filly by Shalaa that the owners wish to retain to race and a photo is enclosed - you can see she is outstanding.
She’s Our Star one late cover to Doubtland on November 7th and missed. Breeding certificate enclosed.
In summary she’s our star was a good young racehorse who performed at 2, is well related to an active family on the rise and is easy to breed and foal down and is a good mum. Her offspring are good types cans her owners who raced her are not really interested in breeding wish to move her on and race the Shalaa.
The only negative is that she has been seen to windsuck.
