Description
Derive is a 4yo daughter of Australia’s Champion stallion Redoute’s Choice.
Redoute’s Choice needs little introduction, he is a three-time Champion Sire, a sale-ring sensation, the leading sire of sires and most importantly, Australia’s best Broodmare Sire.
Derive is out of an impeccable international female family. Her dam MALALA (Zenno Rob Roy) is a half sister to three Group winners including; dual Group 1 winner World Premier (Deep Impact), Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed World Ace (Deep Impact) and Group 3 winner and Group 1 placed Weltreisande (Dream Journey). This is also the family of Champion racehorse and successful sire Manduro (Monsun).
2yo season: Derive was a precocious 2yo who placed second on three consecutive occasions in her juvenile season. She was ultra-competitive in placing second at metro level in Melbourne (MRC) as a 2yo, once behind former boom-horse Aysar.
3yo season: Derive broke her maiden as a 3yo at Sandown (MRC), making her a metro winner and adding substantially to her future residual value as a broodmare.
4yo (current) season: Derive has won twice more as a 4yo, both at Wednesday meetings. She is currently in full work at Flemington and just this week, on 6/7/22 at Sandown (MRC), she was placed third, beaten only 0.7L.
This beautifully bred, city winning daughter of Redoute’s Choice is being offered as a racing and breeding prospect and presents as a great opportunity to all bloodstock investors.
