Description
Winning Medaglia D’Oro mare in foal to exciting young sire EXCEEDANCE.
Concours is carrying a pregnancy to popular young stallion Exceedance, an electrifying sprinter, and winner of the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes. His first crop weanlings were well received selling up to $200,000 this year. He also had a 100% clearance rate at the 2022 Magic Millions National Weanling Sale with his seven lots on offer averaging $107,000. He stands the 2022 breeding season for $33,000 GST inc.
Concours is a daughter of Group 2 winning mare SHERINE (by Precise End). She was a $550,000 Easter Yearling purchase. Her half-sister is the lightly raced, winning 3YO Swerving (by Extreme Choice) who is in training with Leon & Troy Corstens and last raced on the 8th of July 2022.
Her full-sister, Good Looking Mare had a filly by Extreme Choice sell at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale this year for $260,000 to Wattle Bloodstock and Cliff Brown Racing. She is from a family littered with black type including successful USA Stallion BODEMEISER (by Empire Maker), who is already the sire of 26 Stakes winners.
Concours has had a genuinely unlucky breeding history to no fault of hers, and will come with a transferable free return to Exceedance if she fails to produce a live foal.
