Description
Oregon's Rose is a beautiful winning rising 4 yo mare & is being sold to disband a partnership. She is being sold as a Breeding prospect only.
She is from the outstanding Eulogy family with Grand Dam the prolific race & broodmare, Tesio Stakes Winner Oregon Seal.
Oregon's Rose has two siblings - promising 2 yo Mighty George with Mick Price & Michael Kent junior and a rising 2 yo Puissance De Lune filly.
The Dam, Oregon's Girl is a half sister to 3 black-type winners, the classy Oregon's Day, Oregon Spirit, and Perth Cup winner Talent Show.
Oregon's Girl's sire, Soldiers Tale has proven to be a good broodmare sire producing stakes winners, Neurological & Essential Spice.
Oregon's Rose raced only 7 times saluting at her 3rd start at above average standard time at Kilmore in January this year. In her second racing preparation her last two runs were below par with the Ballarat run (July 10) experiencing an episode of EIPH. (being scanned race night at the stables after her race).
It is with regret that we are selling her as the syndicate was looking forward to racing her, however her welfare is paramount. We already have the broodmare with the two siblings and are looking to again go with the dam this breeding season.
Oregon's Rose presents as an excellent breeding opportunity from this prolific racing family.
