Description
Half-sister to exciting debut 2YO winner COTEL.
The Peter Moody trained COTEL was an impressive winner of her only start at Caulfield when leading throughout to post a 1.8L victory. She was then spelled immediately with spring targets in mind.
Naseema’s half-brother by Shamus Award sold for $150,000 at the 2022 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale and will be trained by Busuttin Racing.
This young mare has an outstanding family, with the likes of dual Group 1 winner and NZ Champion Sprinter/Miler GEE I JANE, dual Group 1 winner, $1.1m earner and NZ Champion 3yo KATIE LEE and Group 1 winning NZ Champion 2yo BANCHEE, on the pedigree page.
There is plenty of upside here, with mares in the family having been covered by All Too Hard, Savabeel, Street Boss etc during the 2021 breeding season.
