A young Snitzel mare in foal to Nature Strip’s sire.
This commercial, young Snitzel mare was a $250,000 Easter yearling, she has the looks and the pedigree, perfect for someone looking to expand their broodmare band.
She was city placed as a 2yo and showed good ability having placed 3 times in a short racing career. She boasts a solid pedigree, littered with black type performers. A half sister to the super consistent Charlie Boy, who was a multiple group winner with earnings over $900,000. Her second dam is the Gr.1 winner Pontal Lass, who developed into a fantastic producer and has really cemented this family. She produced Quays, a Gr.2 winner and Gr.1 placed who in turn has gone onto produce three further stakes performers, it really is a big family! These fillies are now working for the family being bred to some of the best young stallions around including the exciting Trapeze Artist and the sensational Pierro amongst others.
Our Dawn is being sold in foal to Nicconi, one of the best proven options around. The sire of two Gr.1 winners in the 2021/22 season; Graceful Girl and of course, the highest rated sprinter in the world, Nature Strip!
