Description

Vinay is by the outstanding multiple Champion sire Fastnet Rock and is out of the multiple G1 winning Zabeel mare, Champagne.

Fastnet Rock has sired 42 G1 winners worldwide and is an excellent broodmare sire too, with 66 stakeswinners as a broodmare sire, including G1 winners Santa Ana Lane, Russian Emperor and Gytrash, just to name a few.

Champagne was Champion Older Female in NZ, winning two G1s and placing in a further three. She was an outstanding horse on the track and has proven to be just as successful off the track, producing ten winners from her twelve foals to race, including stakes winners, Martique (dam of G1 winner Charmont) and Nadedge.

To support her world class pedigree, Vinay is in foal to one of Europe's most exciting sires, Wootton Bassett. He was an unbeaten French Champion 2YO and is the sire of five G1 winners including Champion 3YO Almanzor. Woottoon Bassett is currently producing 8.0% stakes winners to runners and his yearlings last year sold for up to $1 million at sales across the world.

Vinay is a lovely big strong mare with good hip and good shoulder.
