Description
This horse represents a fantastic opportunity for any owner to purchase a city class racehorse with over $10,000 worth of conditioning already spent and only 3 runs into his current campaign.
He placed 2nd at the Belmont midweek city meeting on August 31st at his last start in a strong race for its class.Being an on pace horse gives him considerable tactical advantage by either leading in his races or sitting right behind the leaders.The trainer has done a wonderful job in caring for the horse and training him to ensure he has a bright prospect of longevity in front of him,having just turned 6 years old and lightly raced, and only had 22 starts so far in his career.
Rodnee is a big,strong boy who is sound, travels well in the float and has a wonderful temperament but he has not lived up to his promise of being a Saturday class horse and the current lease has been surrendered.The owner now wants to concentrate on younger horses coming through her system.Any vet check or contact with the trainer is welcome.Please note the horse is a windsucker
