Description
This 2 year old colt by Rubick is a big, powerful horse with a great stride. He is ready to go to the breaker and embark on a racing career.
The horse was not sold as a yearling due to sesamoiditis that was evident on radiographs. Consequently, the horse was given time in a paddock at Twin Hills and radiographed again on 24 August 2022. A veterinary report with findings is attached.
The colt comes from one of the strongest families in the Australian Studbook. He is closely related to the brilliant mare Champagne Cuddles and is out of a half sister to the Group 3 winner Violate. He is by Rubick who is having a hot run with his progeny, most notably with Jacquinot, the current favourite for the Caulfield Guineas. Interestingly, Jacquinot’s second dam is by Redoute’s Choice, the same as this colt. This colt is out of a mare by Star Witness, who is the broodmare sire of Bella Nipotina.
