Description
LA PLUIE is a 4YO mare by ENCOSTA DE LAGO’S ultra talented son MANHATTAN RAIN out of the 2YO Stakes winning EXCEED AND EXCEL mare EXCEEDINGLY FRENCH.
A Mornington 1500 metre maiden winner last season, La Pluie has had twelve starts now with her last three starts being 5th of 11 Moe 1600 metre BM 64 on soft ground, 5th of 9 Wangaratta 1400 metre BM 58 on heavy ground and 4th of 10 Moe 1600 metre BM 58 on heavy ground. She has earned $23,910 in stakes.
La Pluie is a half-sister to the Group 2 Moonee Valley Fillies Classic winner LA FALAISE. La Falaise also ran a close up 4th in the Group 1 SAJC Australasian Oaks and earned $255,710 in stakes.
