Description
Canadian Gold had very good ability but unfortunately injury cut short
her very promising career. She was a very impressive winner on debut
showing a super turn of foot and placed at Flemington at her 3rd start
reeling in some very good sectionals down the middle of the track. In
only an 8 start career she was a winner and placed 3 times in good
company earning over 50k in prizemoney.
Canadian Gold is a daughter of Golden Slipper winner and successful sire
Vancouver. Vancouver's 5 stakeswinners include the very promising
Everest bound Overpass. Her dam is the Gr1 pl & Gr2 Rich Hill Mile
winner Miss Pelear a daughter of the Argentinian sire Mr Nacho also sire
of Gr1 winner Nacho Man. Canadian Gold is a 1/2 sister to the speedy
winner Flash Point and is closely related to Gr 3 winner The Hombre &
Gr1 Derby winner Great Command.
A good fast metropolitan class mare Canadian Gold has a good outcross
pedigree with only one Danehill Line and would suit many sirelines.
