Description
Lady Matilda, 3yo filly by Palentino.
Unraced filly who has had her first jumpout earlier this month (comments linked below). She is a stunning type and she should continue to furnish and improve, however, she has not yet shown city class ability and ownership have decided to move her on.
Her dam, Lady Spitfire, is a winner and half-sister to Listed winner Mihalic. This filly is from the successful family of wonderful blue hen Pretty Penny, the dam of seven blacktype horses including Group winners Sertorius, Pretty Brazen, Clifton Red and the recently retired Dollar For Dollar as well as Rezealient, I Am Titanium and Fortune Of War.
Her sire, Palentino, is leading sire Teofilo's best performed son at stud in Australia. He won the G1 Australian Guineas (beating Tarzino and Risque) and G1 Makybe Diva S. (beating Black Heart Bart and He or She) emulating the G1 double of legendary Zabeel. He also defated Tosen Stardom and Harlem in the G2 Blamey S.
