Description
Saasmit is a very well-bred filly still with potential upside left in her to continue her racing career or start a new career as a promising broodmare
She was outstanding to win on debut as a 2yo at Murray Bridge (metro) by 3 lengths. Her next start was in the Blue Diamond Fillies Preview, Gr.3 at Caulfield where she was only beaten 2 lengths by the very talented fillies Dosh, Tayla’s Moment and Frost Flowers amongst others.
She is by Shalaa who was a leading first crop sire.. Her dam, Touchy Greeley is a half-sister to Liscanna who is the Gr.3 winning dam of 2 Group 1 winning 2yo’s, Brave Anna (Cheveley Park S., Gr.1) and Hit It A Bomb (Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (Turf), Gr.1).
Coming from this family and with her untapped potential on the track, Saasmit has enormous upside.
She is currently in work and race fit ready. Owners have large numbers of younger stock coming through and prefer to focus on them.
