Description
A northern hemisphere bred daughter of Exceed And Excel, Mia Diva (GB) is offered in a unique 3 in 1 package with her Frosted (USA) colt foal at foot and with a positive 45 day pregnancy scan to the elite young sire Maurice (JPN) with a last service date of 8 September 2022.
Mia Diva was a two-year-old winner over 1000m in the UK. She is a full sister to Group 3 winning filly Queen Of Bermuda and is a three-quarter sister to Listed winning filly Crazyland. Mia Diva’s dam, Imperialistic Diva, has a yearling colt by Zarak that sold for 160,000 Euro at the Arqana October yearling sale last month.
The Frosted foal, born 20 August, is a medium sized, strong bodied colt with a lot of presence and athleticism. He has good bone with correct conformation.
Mia Diva’s first foal, a colt by Night Of Thunder, will be offered at the Magic Millions Gold Coast yearling sale in January. He is an attractive colt, straightforward colt with a big action.
Exceed And Excel is widely regarded as one of the best broodmare sires in the southern hemisphere with 72 stakes winners including Group 1 winners including Alizee, Prompt Response, Ten Sovereigns, Astern, Bounding, Magic Attitude, Laws Of Indices, Crown Prosecutor, Tuvalu, Madame Pommery and Anthony Van Dyck.
Maurice has covered a full but small book of mares this breeding season at an service fee $75,000 + GST.
Mia Diva stands at approximately 15.2. She is a beautiful mare with a lovely action that has been inherited by her first two foals.
