Description
Coodarady is a lightly raced 4yo gelding by Capitalist who imposes the five starts for one win in his career thus far. He was a $380,000 yearling purchase from the 2020 Inglis Easter Sale and is a half brother to G1 Oakleigh Plate winner BOOKER.
He was impressive at his debut appearance when a metropolitan winner at a stand-alone Newcastle meeting before failing at Randwick at his two starts after that when jumping single figures in the market. He last raced at Eagle Farm on Melbourne Cup day (01/11/22) when leading and weakening out over 1600m with the blinkers on.
He is a horse with plenty of upside, as evidenced by how well he trials however at this point in time he isn’t delivering in his races and we feel a change of scenery outside of a strong jurisdiction such as Metropolitan NSW & QLD where he has been racing would do him no harm. He is obviously still lightly-raced and is race fit which should appeal to those trying to make a quick return on their investment.
He does require a vet certificated to race after pulling up slightly lame on the 1st of November 2022.
